Chandigarh, February 17, 2026: The Student Welfare Cell of Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology (Degree Wing), Sector-26, organised its Annual Blood Donation Camp in collaboration with GMCH-32, Chandigarh, on the college campus on Monday.
The camp was inaugurated by Principal Dr. M.S. Gujral, Prof. In-charge Student Welfare Dr. D.S. Saini, and Dr. Gulshan Goyal, Assistant Professor (CSE) and President of the Student Council. The event was coordinated by Dr. Gulshan Goyal with active support from student volunteers Ravina Mittal, Yashasvi Brar and Garv Saadi, who played a key role in organising and managing the camp.
More than 100 students, faculty members and staff registered for blood donation. The medical team from GMCH-32 collected a total of 62 units of blood, which will be used for patients in need.
The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty and staff members, who came forward to donate blood and contribute to this noble cause. All blood donors and organisers were felicitated with certificates and refreshments in appreciation of their contribution.
The college administration lauded the efforts of the Student Welfare Cell, the GMCH-32 medical team and the volunteers for making the event a success and reiterated its commitment to organising more such socially meaningful initiatives in the future.
