CHANDIGARH: The results for the Punjab Engineering College Old Students’ Association (PECOSA) Elections 2026 have been officially declared. Following a vibrant democratic process by the esteemed alumni fraternity, all office-bearer and Executive Member seats for the 2026–2028 term have now been filled.
The New Office Bearers
Harpreet Singh Oberoi from the 1993 batch has been elected as the new President of PECOSA. He secured a decisive victory, capturing 1,106 votes (67.7%) to defeat challengers Pankaj Gupta (458 votes) and Mohit Shrivastava (69 votes).
The other newly elected core office bearers include:

Vice President: Sanjiv Moudgil (Batch 1985) won with 1,006 votes (62.5%), finishing ahead of Archana Rohela (454 votes) and Puneet Saxena (150 votes).

General Secretary: Jorawer Singh (Batch 1990) secured the position with 939 votes (57.7%), defeating Dr. Har Amrit Sandhu (626 votes) and Om Kanoujia (62 votes).

Treasurer: Ashwani Kundal (Batch 2009) won with 1,015 votes (63.8%), defeating Shagun Sharma (576 votes).

Joint Secretary: Sandeep Gupta (Batch 1988) emerged victorious with 1,036 votes (65.8%), leading against Dr. Rajendra Belokar (476 votes) and Arunesh Seth (62 votes).
