ABU DHABI: The Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi has officially announced a significant change in the outsourced service provider responsible for handling Indian passport, visa, and consular services across the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
According to an official statement, a new service provider has been appointed following the completion of a comprehensive tendering and selection process, aimed at maintaining high-quality and accessible consular services for the Indian diaspora and other applicants in the region.
Key Details of the Transition
To ensure a smooth handover and uninterrupted services, the Embassy has outlined the following transition timeline:
-
Current Operations: The existing service providers, BLS International Services Limited and SGIVS Global, will continue to accept and process all applications until June 30, 2026.
-
New Provider Takeover: Effective July 1, 2026, Al Hind Tours and Travels LLC will take over as the new designated outsourced service provider.
-
New Application Centers: From July 1 onwards, all applications for Indian passports, visas, and other consular services will only be accepted through the newly designated centers operated by Al Hind Tours and Travels.
Advisory for Applicants
The Embassy has strongly advised applicants to continue using the existing BLS International and SGIVS Global centers for any applications submitted before the July 1 deadline.
Furthermore, the Embassy urged members of the Indian community and other applicants to remain vigilant and rely exclusively on official embassy websites and verified social media platforms for accurate, up-to-date information regarding the transition.
