DIMAPUR: Marking a significant milestone in the continued development of sports across the state, the Nagaland Pickleball Association (NPA) proudly launched the inaugural Nagaland Pickleball Masters 2026.
The three-day championship, scheduled from July 24 to July 26, 2026, is being hosted at The Fitness House in Dimapur. The major sporting event is presented by the Niathu Group in close collaboration with The Fitness House.
Boosting a Fast-Growing Sport
The tournament was officially inaugurated during a grand Opening Ceremony at 4:00 PM on Friday, July 24. Shri Bashangmongba Chang, Hon’ble Minister for NPWD Housing & Mechanical Engineering, Government of Nagaland, graced the event as the Chief Guest, highlighting the growing governmental recognition and support for pickleball as an emerging sport in the region.
With a lucrative total prize pool of ₹3,00,000, the championship has successfully drawn top-tier talent. The tournament features players from Nagaland competing alongside several of India’s leading pickleball athletes.
