CHANDIGARH: Seeing the growing interest of handball among the youth and a rapid rise in local coaching centres under the guidance of Chandigarh Handball Association, they have officially announced the upcoming launch of Chandigarh Handball League. Organized under the leadership of Association President Ravinder Singh and Secretary Narinder Singh, the league aims to significantly promote the sport and provide players with a competitive, national level platform to showcase their elite talent.
The prestigious men’s league is set to bring together some of the finest emerging handball talent from across the country. A total of 8 teams, each comprising 12 players representing different states across India are expected to compete.
The Association is actively in talks with several reputed companies and prominent corporate organizations for strategic sponsorships and collaborations. Officials have stated that all major corporate partnerships and administrative formalities should be finalized by the end of this month.
Officials of the Chandigarh Handball Association strongly believe that the league will serve as a massive catalyst for the growth of handball in the region, while simultaneously unlocking new professional pathways for talented players on the national stage. The entire event is being planned out on a professional scale, with the main goal of making Chandigarh as a prominent and premier hub for handball in India.
