Anjaneya Tewari, Chandigarh: Emphasizing the spirit of community welfare and togetherness, the Education Department of the Chandigarh Administration organized a special Chhabil (sweetened water distribution) and Langar today at Sector 9, Chandigarh.
Offering relief from the intense summer heat, the department distributed refreshing cold water alongside a langar comprising Channa Kulcha and Halwa to passersby, visitors, and local residents.
Upholding Values of Compassion and Sewa
The community service event was formally inaugurated by Sh. Nitish Singla, PCS, Director of School Education, Chandigarh Administration. Speaking on this auspicious occasion, Singla deeply appreciated the spirit of community service demonstrated by the department’s staff. He actively encouraged everyone present to continuously uphold the core human values of compassion, selfless service (Sewa), and social harmony in their daily lives.
