CHANDIGARH: Reaffirming its commitment to public welfare on the occasion of National Doctors’ Day, the BJP Medical Cell, Chandigarh, successfully organized a Free FibroScan Camp at the Global Health Clinic in Sector-21.
The health initiative was spearheaded under the leadership of Lalit Takiyar, State Convenor of the BJP Medical Cell, Chandigarh, and Dr. Sanjeev Bhatia, the Cell’s In-charge. During the camp, a total of 55 patients successfully underwent FibroScan examinations and received expert medical consultations completely free of charge.
Felicitating the Medical Fraternity
The event was graced by Jatinder Pal Malhotra, President of BJP Chandigarh, who attended as the Chief Guest. Addressing the gathering of medical professionals and party workers, he lauded the unwavering commitment of the medical community.
“Doctors are not merely professionals but true pillars of humanity. Their dedication, compassion, and selfless service save countless lives and constantly inspire our society,” Malhotra stated.
To honor their outstanding contributions to the medical profession and society at large, several prominent doctors—including Dr. Guranchal, Dr. Manoj, and Dr. Sanjeev Bhatia—were specially felicitated during the event. Furthermore, Dr. Meena Chadha, Co-Convenor of the BJP Medical Cell, honored Chief Guest Jatinder Pal Malhotra with a ceremonial memento.
Continued Commitment to Public Health
The overall event was efficiently coordinated by Sumit Bhandari under the guidance of Lalit Takiyar. Speaking at the conclusion of the camp, Takiyar assured the public that the BJP Medical Cell will continue organizing similar high-impact public health initiatives and medical awareness programs in the future.
